Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Distribution Center Manager to lead our fast-paced, multi-shift warehouse operation.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 24/5 distribution center, managing a team of 40 employees across 3 shifts, and ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective fulfillment of customer orders.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Team Leadership & Development:


    • Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates across all three shifts.
    • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance; promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing for operational demands.


  • Operations Management:


    • Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of parts and components.
    • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure system integrity through regular cycle counts and audits.
    • Identify and drive process improvements and lean initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outside vendors to resolve operational issues and meet customer expectations.


  • Compliance & Safety:


    • Ensure full compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
    • Promote a clean, organized, and safe working environment for all employees.


  • Technology & Systems:


    • Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP tools to optimize warehouse operations.
    • Support implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance productivity.




Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience accepted.
  • 5+ years of warehouse or distribution management experience, preferably in a parts or industrial equipment environment.
  • Proven experience managing a large team (30+ employees), including multi-shift operations.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Forklift certification and knowledge of OSHA safety standards a plus.


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as needed.
