*Job Title:* Patient Service Representative - Call Center (Healthcare)
*Location: *100%* *onsite in Kearny Mesa, CA 92123 *Overview:* We are seeking dedicated *Patient Service Representative* to support a healthcare plan provider. In this role, you will assist patients with Medicare/Medi-Cal redetermination, health plan enrollment, and general inquiries related to benefits and eligibility. This is a high-volume call center environment requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. *Key Responsibilities:* * Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding patient benefits * Assist with application reviews, eligibility verification, and copay collection * Provide clear guidance on coverage details and troubleshoot patient concerns * Support Medicare redetermination and health plan enrollment processes * Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance standards *Top Skills & Qualifications:* * High School Diploma (required) * Healthcare experience (Medicare/Medi-cal/HMO) * Call center experience (heavy inbound calls) * Bilingual in English and Spanish (not required but preferred) * Strong soft skills: empathy, active listening, and professionalism * Research-oriented with investigative problem-solving abilities *Availability Requirements:* * Must be available to work Monday-Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM * You will be assigned x5 8 hour shifts * You will not be working every weekend #westpriority25 *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
