Job Title: Quality & Safety Supervisor
Classification: Salaried - Exempt

Summary of Job
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for providing QA leadership for the Arlington, TX location by setting a strategy, adhering quality standards, achieving goals, and following objectives. This role reports directly to the Sr. Quality and Continuous Improvement manager and will be responsible for reporting quality KPIs for the Arlington location within the Mailing Solutions business unit. They will also support the Plant Manager and support their vision for the Plant Control System, which is the way the plant operates.
The Quality Supervisor role will be responsible for implementation of the quality and safety programs developed by the Quality Management team and EHS Management team. Leading by example, this role will set the tone for the team's culture with an emphasis on safety, quality, profitability, and people development. The Quality Supervisor will oversee all activities related to quality assurance and will play a critical role in understanding and meeting internal and external customer needs by implementing solutions, and validating product, and solution performance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Lead the facilities in the adoption and disciplined use of a clearly defined, well documented, and systematic process of implementing change that improves the plant's quality metrics.
- Lead incident investigations for quality and safety, when necessary.
- Facilitate safety and quality onboarding training for all employees hired to the Arlington facility.
- Drives Safety results by completing all necessary safety training and/or audits as required by OSHA and the business.
- Collaborate with quality team & safety team objectives supporting project management, change management, SOP deployment, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with plant leadership on continuous improvement projects, equipment deployments, and new product onboarding.
- Oversee the facility in adhering to the QMS/EHS systems and ensure that the proper certifications are provided.
- Lead and facilitate customer complaint and safety incident resolutions and drive to corrective action.
- Lead activities that empower, engage, and involve operators with the information and tools to achieve a world class quality system.
- Lead operations to operator-controlled quality measurement.
- Lead quality teams to technician-controlled quality measurements.
- Execute and propose solutions on quality complaint investigations, root cause analyses, troubleshooting, data collection.
- Demonstrate appropriate project management skills and use of DMAIC/Lean methodology in execution of projects.
- Routinely monitor production through periodic Q/C checks and evaluation of routine checks made by in-house line leaders.
- Ensure site adherence to quality assurance plans provided for new products to guarantee quality from stage one.
- Create site specific quality processes as needed.
- Maintain the Quality Root-Cause database, CAPA system.
- Maintain OSHA logs and training records.
- Help manage packaging group through training of temporary and or new employees with periodic checks of Quality Assurance protocols and retraining when required.

Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in people, process, and product management
- BS Mechanical, Process Engineering, or Quality Engineering or similar relevant degree/experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
- SAP Experience preferred.
- Detail oriented and organized. Must be able to manage multiple projects in cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on approach working with production teams.
- Understand and develop people. We heavily focus on employee participation.
- Ability to multi-task with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills
