Job Title: Training Coordinator



Summary Responsible for developing and delivering technical and safety training to employees utilizing various methods to ensure optimal performance in our production operations. This role ensures that all training promotes a safe work environment, aligns with company policies, and upholds quality and operational standards across the organization.



Starting Wage: $26.00



The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At ANBM, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Develop and organize training materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, attendance documents, and student handouts
  • Design graphics, animations, and Computer-based Training (CBT) modules using the computer equipment and creativity.
  • Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as instructor-led training sessions, role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, or hands-on exercises.
  • Clearly communicate learning objectives to trainees.
  • Deliver classroom training on various topics such as intro to manufacturing, the theory of grinding, basic assembly practices, NTN history, Safety orientation, and similar topics.
  • Uphold company standards regarding safety, quality, health, and environmental at all times.
  • Maintains accurate and complete training records in the Learning Management System (MQ-1 or similar).
  • Act as back up for Training Supervisor in various duties, including Cornerstone learning management administration.
  • Work with managers to create training videos.
  • Support social media presence with posts and videos.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience




  • Associate Degree or Certificate(s) from professional organization(s) in Training, Manufacturing Technology, Instructional Technology, or Technical Writing-(preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications-Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated success in training adults-(preferred).
  • Experience with Articulate 360 and Storyline software a plus.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Cornerstone a plus.
  • Advanced competency in grinding, assembly, or broach and turning operations; preventative maintenance; and manufacturing of automotive components preferred.
  • Read, write, and verbally communicate in English to convey information effectively so others will understand.
  • Practical knowledge of basic mathematical principles.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safety, health, and environment protection practices within the workplace.



Physical Demands




  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts; hazards common to industrial settings; chemicals, vibration, and loud noises.
  • Safety shoes, safety glasses, chemical resistant gloves and bump caps for this position must be worn on the production floor. Other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
  • Regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Manually lift and /or move up to 10 pounds repetitively, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must have 20/20 vision, (corrected is acceptable).
  • Able to hear in a manufacturing plant environment while wearing hearing protection.
