Growing global manufacturer is looking for a Document Management Specialist for their Theodore, AL location.

Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for maintaining all files both physical and electronic for EHSSQ - utilizing one system for all required records.
  • All records will be maintained per the company's Records Retention Policy.
  • Acts as the Document Control Coordinator for EHSSQ which involves assisting in reviewing and updating procedures/manuals to keep current with site requirements.
  • Responsible for updating procedures through Open Text - all changes and revisions will be managed through this role including managing any additional support
  • Communication focal point for EHSSQ - ownership of Teams, One Note.
  • Responsible for scheduling and recording of meeting minutes and action items for EHSSQ Department meeting, EHSQ Site Meetings, Superintendents meetings, Community meetings and other EHSQ initiatives determined by Department Manager.
  • Issues all Purchases Orders and manages outline agreements (OA's) and vendors for the entire department.
  • Tracks all third-party work, commitments and spend remaining - monthly updates.

This is a long term temporary opportunity with potential for extension and if a position opens up potential for conversion. Pay is between $21/hr. -$24/hr.

Requirements:



  • 2+ years of office support or administrative support within a production environment, preferably within chemical, pharmaceutical or biomaterial
  • Experience with EHSSQ documentation
  • Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and SAP
