Position Summary:

The Equipment Engineer will collaborate closely with both the Maintenance and Engineering teams to support the validation of new equipment and processes. This role will be responsible for conducting equipment inspections, performing repairs and upgrades, and ensuring optimal equipment performance. The Equipment Engineer will also partner with Equipment Maintenance personnel to develop and sustain robust processes for Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, and documentation related to equipment repair and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Play a key role in equipment validation by supporting the Validation Engineering team with the testing and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure seamless equipment installation by verifying proper mounting, alignment, and secure utility and electrical connections.
  • Set equipment up for success by making sure it's installed in the right location with sufficient space for safe operation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Be a technical resource by providing support and training to Equipment Maintenance team members when needed.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize by conducting hands-on testing to identify and resolve mechanical issues, inefficiencies, or malfunctions.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, OEMs, and vendors to meet project goals for quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
  • Keep things running smoothly by maintaining accurate records and documentation for equipment validation, performance, and installation.
  • Support component sourcing by helping identify specifications and locate the right mechanical and electrical components for various systems.


Must Have:



  • Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline required.
  • 1 year of experience within a manufacturing environment handling Equipment engineering or similar. Medical Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft office knowledge.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence and engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English with clear communication of idea.
  • Requires flexibility to be on-call during off-hours to support operational needs.


Salary Range:

$70,000-90,000
