Position Details:
  • Location: Halifax, PA
  • Starting Pay: $29.00 per hour
  • Shift Details: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
    • Occasional variable weekday hours
    • Rotating on-call responsibilities
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems? Hearth & Home Technologies, North America's leading manufacturer of hearth products, is looking for a Maintenance Technicianto join our team.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
  • Troubleshoot, build, and repair industrial machinery and systems to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance to ensure the equipment remains reliable and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Track repairs and support continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring:
  • 3-5 years of experiencein industrial maintenance or related mechanical trades (technical/vocational training a plus).
  • Strongfabrication skills: welding, cutting, and basic machining.
  • Experience withconstruction tasks: framing, concrete work, rigging, and facility repairs.
  • Proficiency inelectrical systems: 120V-480V circuits, motors, and controls.
  • Knowledge ofhydraulic and pneumatic systems: pumps, valves, actuators, compressors, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interprettechnical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Basic computer skills for diagnostics and record-keeping.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs., work at heights, and in various environmental conditions.
