A day in the life...

As a National Account Coordinator, you'll manage both internal and external customer needs for our everyday and seasonal business. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy a fast-paced environment, are highly organized, and can execute tasks under tight deadlines. Your strong communication skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint will help you succeed. This position offers a clear path for growth, with the potential to move into an account management role.

What you will be doing...



  • Develop and create deliverable sales presentation documents and tools
  • Product samples - coordinate ordering, confirm accuracy of order, build item labels, ensure on-time delivery to event or meeting location
  • Assist Directors, Team Leads and Account Managers with sales presentations to include creation of presentation or coordination with various internal departments to obtain current product images & sales data
  • Create & maintain account specific data in the ECRM website for scheduled events
  • Work with RSC ECRM representative to stay current on vendor requirements for scheduled events
  • Follow up after presentations to coordinate accurate and on-time delivery of product samples to vendor planogram rooms for various sales accounts
  • Effectively communicate with appropriate internal departments the need for new item setup, process timeline and other details for all new item setups for specific customers
  • Complete item setup in vendor systems including approved pricing and other item details
  • Meet with internal departments as necessary concerning item changes or updates and required system changes
  • Follow up with vendor to ensure all items are completed
  • Create order sheets reflecting new or newly available products for use in DSD selling by Field Sales Reps
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets or item lists for use in reviews and ease of communication with customers and internal department (i.e.-forecasting, pricing, presentation strategy)
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines during plant visits to support product quality and uphold food safety standards
  • Complete and follow FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the company's food safety and quality objectives
  • Promptly report any observed or suspected issues that may impact food safety, quality, or compliance to the designated plant personnel, to support timely corrective actions and maintain compliance
  • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company's Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role

  • Experience managing projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Word
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Field sales or inside sales experience
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Experience with retail customer specific systems
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Baan or SAP
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
