Role Summary:

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead cross-functional and technology teams to drive the research, implementation, and deployment of innovative technologies for Insurance and Investments products. The ideal candidate should possess 4-7 years of experience managing emerging technology programs and projects. A key requirement is to have integration experience of business-critical applications, especially in the Insurance domain. Background in compliance is highly desired. The candidate should have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and will lead multi-disciplinary product initiatives. The candidate should have managed one or more FinTech/InsurTech products. The candidate must be comfortable managing multiple products along with technical managers. The candidate should be able to facilitate brainstorming of innovative ideas to implement cutting-edge business solutions. The ideal candidate should be a passionate self-starter able to navigate through a startup culture. You will be based out of our office in New York City for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for working alongside technical managers to assist in product development from vision to production.
  • Gather business feedback, understand their needs and pain points, and work closely with Business Development and Marketing to ensure fast adoption of the product.
  • Define creative, high-quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision.
  • Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to market.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with project owners and team members to build industry-leading solutions.
  • Participate as a team member in planning the individual product features and their development lifecycles.
  • Research and identify best practices both from a business and product perspective.
  • Ensure the user experience, responsiveness, and functionalities of applications.
  • Closely work with technical team to align their development with business needs.


What you'll bring:

  • 4-7 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's or higher degree.
  • 4-7 years of consumer or business-facing software product management experience.
  • 4-7 years' experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects to tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Experience in core product management disciplines including but not limited to scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and presentation skills.
  • Experience using Atlassian tool sets: Jira, Confluence.
  • Strong employee engagement.
  • Experience in implementing Digital Transformation initiatives.
  • MBA or Master's degree (optional).
  • Proven track record of building software solutions in the cloud and a deep understanding of cloud computing best practices with consideration for scale, efficiency, and performance.
  • Experience with solutions built using AWS technologies.
  • Experience as product or program manager within Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development environments.
  • Direct Experience in implementing Insurance solutions.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development methodology.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$62,400-$102,500

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
