SUMMARY
Coordinates production scheduling to meet demands of all external customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Complete Manufacturing


  • Supervise Production Coordinators, giving them guidance as needed. Working with them on weekly/monthly flow of product coordinating with PP's changes.
  • Making sure all reports are run daily/weekly to keep the flow of products balanced and get these reports to everyone accountable in production.
  • Working with sales, customers, and vendors ensuring we focus on on-time delivery of our products.
  • Working with department managers/supervisors and team leaders as demands by customers change as well as our capacity changes due to labor, equipment failures and inventory shortages and other challenges.
  • Working with logistics/sales through our planners to coordinate deliveries, pickups of both customer and vendor products.


Power Products


  • Creating all plan jobs in Job Boss, then scheduling and adjusting schedule as needed making sure aligns with Smartsheet.
  • Scheduling all live jobs in job boss and make sure build schedule aligns with smart sheet.
  • Meet weekly with PMs to discuss schedule, adjusting as needed depending on availability of components. Once determined adjust schedule and get out to all departments proactively on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Coordinating with purchasing all changes on build schedule, with timing of inflow of inventory for just in time results.
  • Weekly meeting with production/sales/engineering and others to go through schedule making sure flow is coordinated with everyone. Everyone knows assignments on projects for current week as well as next week and overall month.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to three years related experience and/or training and a High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Manufacturing Software.
