Job Summary The Corporate Aviation Aircraft Maintenance/Hangar Manager is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of the Company's corporate aircraft (the "Plane") to ensure its safety, reliability, and readiness for executive travel. This role demands a high level of professionalism, discretion, and technical expertise as it supports the use of the Plane by senior executives and VIP clients. The Aircraft Maintenance/Hangar Manager will work in a dynamic environment, often with tight schedules and high expectations for service quality. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the Plane including airframe, engines, avionics, and cabin system. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities in accordance with FAA and company requirements. Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance planners and vendors to ensure efficient aircraft turnaround. Ensure the cleanliness, functionality and presentation of the aircraft interior and exterior meet corporate standards. Monitor and manage parts inventory, tools and ground support equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training to stay current with evolving technologies and best practices. Provide on-call support and travel as needed for off-site maintenance or AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations. Perform general maintenance and oversee and schedule line technician. Ensure maintenance and repair of the hangar facilities and grounds.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in aviation maintenance preferred. FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required. Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining corporate or business-class aircraft (e.g., Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault, Cessna Citation). Experience with Textron aircraft preferred. Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, OEM maintenance procedures, and corporate aviation standards. Experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, Flightdocs). Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and travel as required. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport security clearance.
