The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine invites qualified applications for retiree pre-clinical and clinical faculty positions. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in general dental practice. Board certification and prior teaching experience are preferred. These positions are for faculty who have retired from the School of Dental Medicine and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Examples of work performed The duties for this faculty position include clinical and didactic teaching. The overall distribution of such activities and allocation of responsibilities is determined by each Department Chair based on department and School of Dental Medicine needs, along with other appropriate considerations.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is a retiree faculty position, and the incoming faculty will be placed into a Retiree Faculty position title.
- Be eligible to work as a retiree faculty at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
- DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited US Dental School or foreign equivalent
- Eligible to be licensed in Colorado
- Dependent upon the dental specialty, experience in treating complex dental cases, medically complex patients, and or patients requiring multidisciplinary care
- Applicants must have had a clinical, scholarly, and/or academic record consistent with each appointment level in the School of Dental Medicine
- Candidates who have a dental specialty should be dental specialty board eligible
- Board certification and prior teaching experience are preferred

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $59.38 to $125.00 per hour for retiree faculty positions depending on specialty. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
