Overview

Goldbelt Hawk designs, develops, and implements comprehensive solutions for problem spaces, including computer security, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/data center operations. Specializing in local and enterprise-level incident response and forensic analysis, Hawk's personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices.

Summary:

Goldbelt Hawk has an immediate need for a Security Control Assessor. Onsite work: 5 days/week in downtown Washington DC. A secret security clearance is required.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform Security Assessments (Assessment and Authorization (A&A)) on high, moderate, and low information systems as part of an active third-party assessment organization in accordance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Complete comprehensive test plans for identified security controls following NIST 800-53, FedRAMP guidance, and/or agency-specific guidance
  • Produce complete, accurate, and timely findings reports (SRTM, SAR, RAR, Assessment Findings, ATO Briefing, etc.)
  • Develop documents and document templates
  • Promote an environment of continuous process improvement, learning, and team collaboration

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Functions:

  • Familiar with information security and assurance principles and associated supporting technologies
  • Excellent customer service and organization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active or Current Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum five (5) or more years of experience in the following areas: Cybersecurity policy, procedures, and processes, including RMF, NIST 800-53, and A&A's

Pay and Benefits

The average salary for this position is $140,000 annually.
