Job Summary/Overview
This role is responsible for various roles including the assembly, testing, painting, machining of parts, and general stocking duties as well as general maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform bench operations such as filing, cutting, chipping, deburring, drilling, tapping, and reaming. * Perform a variety of mechanical and electrical assembly operations to assemble small and medium-sized products. Operations may involve wire cutting, splicing, soldering, crimping, or like operations. * Move materials by hand, hand truck, or overhead lifting devices when pertaining to own work to any location in the facility as designated by the supervisor. * Paint - sprays surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or working area with protective or decorative material, such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer, using a spray gun. * Perform some manual machining. * Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment. * Performs other related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED). * 2+ years of related experience and/or training. * An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. |
