Description The Sales and Business Development Manager & Marketing Division Leader plays a critical role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and leading a team of sales and service professionals to meet and exceed sales goals and customer experience targets. This position manages all aspects of sales development, customer experience activities, profitable growth and execution of strategic goals. Serving as a key external representative, the role is heavily active in community relations activities, ensuring complete commitment to the Bank's Core Values. Additionally, this role is responsible for the Rondout brand and management of all aspects of the Marketing Division. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Sales and Business Development * Contribute to the continuous growth of the bank by proactively identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities while ensuring exemplary customer service to support the retention of existing relationships. * Collaborate with senior leadership to set annual sales forecasts and branch performance goals. * Accountable for achieving personal sales targets while contributing to overall team sales objectives. * Lead, coach and mentor sales team members to performance goals, holding them accountable to profitable growth and productions benchmarks. * Develop a highly skilled, cohesive, and effective team through continuous development, performance management, and effective leadership. * A leader in the development, expansion and management of consumer and business relationships. Independently identify customers and prospects with additional profit potential and financial services' needs, develop and expand these sales opportunities and coach the sales team to the same standard. * Ensure sales practices, marketing initiatives, and customer interactions align with all applicable banking laws, regulations, and internal policies. * Develop and manage referral networks through partnerships with local businesses, real estate agents, and community groups. * Evaluate bank products and services for future adjustments, improvements, new products, or elimination to improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction. * Maintain a strong presence within the communities we serve, through active participation and leadership roles in various professional organizations, community events, and local initiatives that reflect and promote the Bank's mission and values. Marketing Division Leader * Through collaboration with the Marketing Consultant and leadership of the Marketing Team, continue to elevate the Rondout Brand, build and execute a cohesive marketing strategy that positions the Bank for profitable success. * Build and execute a cohesive marketing strategy that positions the Bank for profitable success through targeted outreach and strategic initiatives. Requirements Experience and Qualifications * 5-7 years of experience in banking or a financial institution or related field. * Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a retail environment with demonstrated success managing teams and meeting growth targets. * Demonstrated ability to lead in a sales culture environment that is based on the customer experience, servicing a need and providing profitable outcomes. * Demonstrated strength in business development, networking, and community engagement. * Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously. * Strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines with accuracy and effectiveness. * Ability to work independently and as a team. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse individuals.
