JOB TITLE: MARKETING MANAGER DEPARTMENT: GROWTH REPORTS TO: CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER CLASSIFICATION: EXEMPT JOB SUMMARY Platform Aerospace is seeking a creative and results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead our marketing team and execute innovative campaigns that grow our brand, educate and attract new Government and commercial customers, and boost engagement. The ideal candidate will have a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on campaign management experience, with a passion for digital marketing and brand storytelling. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across digital, print, and social platforms
- Manage marketing budgets, timelines, and team deliverables
- Create content or oversee content creation, SEO, and advertising campaigns
- Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to optimize marketing efforts
- Collaborate with growth, engineering, and production teams to align messaging
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends and competitive insights
- Coordinate events, product launches, and promotional initiatives
- In coordination with the growth team, organize and manage conference participation and related details
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather content and insights to develop, execute, and refine engaging internal and external communications
- May contribute to the establishment of corporate training and briefing materials
- Maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials
- Manage and mentor marketing team members
Proposal/Content Development & Support
- Provide Desktop Publishing, graphics support, and overarching document quality control during all phases of the capture/proposal process and in support of all other internal/external communications; reviews and edits marketing and communications materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with Platform Aerospace branding, culture, experience, and interests
- Proofread technical documents to reconcile revisions and verify formatting aligns with common standards and Platform Aerospace style guide
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and finalize external documents, marketing materials, and internal communications
- Proofread technical and marketing materials to ensure consistency with the corporate style guide
- Maintain and enforce the Platform Aerospace style guide and templates
- Maintain marketing and growth-related materials in existing knowledge management systems
- Assist in developing training, briefing, and other corporate materials
- Perform other duties, as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related focus area and 5-7 years of work experience in a marketing role
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with graphic design tools, like adobe creative suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing product marketing campaigns from strategy through execution, including social media campaigns across multiple platforms
- Ability to work effectively (adaptable and flexible) in a fast-paced corporate environment, sometimes with minimal specific guidance
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively work as a member of a cross-functional team
- Ability to work with internal and external SMEs and apply professional SME interviewing techniques
- Ability to research and collect technical information and translate that information/material into marketing and related activities
- Demonstrated experience completing projects on-time and within budget
