JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provides supervision to case work staff as well as to the foster parents in our program.Provides ongoing training opportunities that are specific to the needs of the youth in care, both to staff and foster parents.Completes timely intakes for all youth and oversees clinical treatment plans to ensure they address each youth's individual needs. Participates as needed as part of the treatment team for youth we serve.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provides direct supervision to assigned staff

* Plan and implement trainings regarding the therapeutic needs of the youth in care.

* Complete accurate and timely documentation in clients charts regarding services provided.

* Maintain on-going communication with referral sources and families.

* Attend CFTM and court hearings as needed.

* Complete intakes within 7 days of admission for all youth.

Reviews and approves quarterly treatment plan updates for each youth.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

* Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

Masters degree in social work, counseling or a related human service area of study. Master's degree from a recognized school of social work is preferred. Must be license eligible and pursuing licensure.

Years of Experience

Three (3) years of supervised paid casework experience, at least one (1) year of which was with a licensed child placing agency or with the department.

$48,300.00--$67,700.00
