Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Manager - University Card Programs for Procurement Services within University Finance and Administration (
UFA). Reporting to the Associate Director - University Travel and Card Programs, this position is responsible for and administering all aspects of the university credit card programs. This is a high profile role that will interact across all levels in the organization and requires the ability to be tactful and sensitive to business needs while ensuring that appropriate controls and policy compliance are maintained.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Develops a best-in-class credit card program that drives efficiency in purchasing processes and ensure compliance with policies.
- Delivers program benefits to diverse stakeholder groups across the university and delivers a high level of exceptional client service and support to users.
- Ensures process control and accuracy of sensitive data, both personal and financial.
- Updates policies and procedures based on feedback from focus groups and University Procurement Management.
- Manages the credit card provider relationship and technology aspects of the program.
- Generates operational reports and sends these periodically or when requested with business managers to optimize processes and ensure reconciliations.
- Supervises staff as required to manage the program.
- Serves as back up support for the travel and expense management programs as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of relevant work experience, preferably in business administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
