As a Security Officer - Museum Patrols in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a renowned cultural institution, you will play a key role in helping to create a welcoming and secure environment for visitors, staff, and exhibits. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and offering guidance as needed. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming environment for guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support the overall experience of guests by providing directions and general assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
