Facility Manager - Raleigh, NC.

Join our dynamic team as a Facility Manager in the Raleigh area, where no two days are the same! You'll lead the operations of approximately 450,000 square feet of premium commercial space, balancing technical expertise with leadership skills. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on facilities management and strategic thinking-an opportunity to make your mark on our properties while developing your career with an industry leader. You'll directly manage one Facilities Coordinator, providing mentorship and guidance while overseeing the broader operational team.

A Day in the Life of a Facilities Manager:
  • Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify issues, ensure quality standards, and maintain excellent building conditions
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate preventative maintenance programs and emergency repairs
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service level agreements are met and contractors perform to expectations
  • Develop and maintain operating budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Lead a team of facilities professionals, including direct supervision of one Facilities Coordinator
  • Analyze building systems performance data to optimize operations and energy efficiency
  • Respond to tenant requests and concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and satisfaction
  • Participate in capital project planning and execution, from concept through completion
  • Review and approve invoices while monitoring financial performance against budgets
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Prepare regular reports on facility status, project updates, and financial metrics
  • Implement innovative facility management solutions to enhance building performance and occupant experience
Who We're Looking For
  • Experienced Facility Manager with 3+ years in commercial property management
  • Proven experience with building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety
  • Strong background in developing and managing preventative maintenance programs
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and enforcing service level agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage operating and capital budgets
  • Excellent analytical skills for financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of team development and mentorship
  • Effective communication skills to interface with all levels of stakeholders
  • Solution-oriented approach to facilities challenges
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Client-facing experience with strong customer service orientation

Pay $85,000-95,000 depending on experience, with a 10% targeted bonus of the annual salary.
