* Service Technician - TEKsystems (Commercial Fire, Access & CCTV)* TEKsystems is hiring a motivated Service Technician to work independently on fire alarms, access control, and CCTV systems in commercial and enterprise environments. This 6-month contract-to-hire role offers an opportunity to handle scheduled service tickets across client sites, using your own SUV or pickup for the first 6 months. * Responsibilities Include:* * Service commercial fire alarm systems * Deliver reliable, high-quality customer support * Instruct clients on system operation and functionality * Perform system testing and signal verification * Maintain truck stock and necessary tools * Handle new installations, upgrades, and additions * Organize technical resources for efficient task execution * Monitor and complete assigned service tickets * Submit task-related documentation and productivity reports * Manage time effectively with weekly scheduling * Respond to emergency service calls when required * Maintain strong written and verbal communication * Demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Complete other tasks and projects as assigned * Core Skills Required:* * CCTV * Fire Alarm Systems * Access Control * Customer Service * Security Systems * System Installation & Support * Top Skills You'll Bring:* * CCTV * Security * Access Control * Fire Alarm * Service * Customer Support * Additional Requirements:* * High School Diploma or Vocational Training minimum * 1+ years of experience with low voltage systems * Working knowledge of intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom, and access control * Familiarity with local/national codes preferred * Ability to read technical drawings and pull wires accordingly * Valid driver's license required * Must pass drug screening * Experience Level:* Intermediate Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
