IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Construction Administrator in our Greenwood Village, CO office. As a Senior Construction Administrator you will be responsible for providing a high level of overall leadership for the team. This position will be expected to mentor and train less experienced staff in addition to performing site observations during construction, providing information as requested to contractors, and keeping engineers informed of project status and aware of potential problems or liability issues.

The Senior Construction Administrator will represent IMEG as the main client contact during the construction administration phases on large projects. This position will also be expected to coordinate and provide feedback to the Project Manager and design team to improve typical processes and design standards. This position will be a supporting role to our engineering teams that focus on various types of vertical building design.

Principal Responsibilities
Provide advanced leadership throughout role as a construction administrator
*Provide input and help with department-based planning and resource allocation
*Review project, scope of work, and budget for contracted services
*Assist with IMEG quality control processes
*Meet with the Operations Manager, Project Managers and design engineers to review expectations and role to be fulfilled by Construction Administrator on project assigned
*Responsible for preparing a work schedule and time projections assigned, as well as coordinating the schedule and work with the Operations Manager and the design engineers
*Observe work to determine if progress and quality of workmanship are in accordance with the contract documents
*Review contract documents with contractors, clarify and interpret contract documents and obtain information from design engineers as required. Issue reports regarding deficiencies in the project
*Collect data and review change orders with the design engineer and prepare project close out documents when needed
*Confer with the Architect on issues regarding the construction coordination between architectural and engineering design; coordinate with the design engineer and record and document events and circumstances
*Review applications for payment submitted by the contractor and forward to the Project Manager with recommendation for disposition
*Assist client with final observation of the work and receive necessary documentation from contractor at the completion of the work
*Attend construction progress meetings as required in the service contract and report proceedings

Required Skills/Abilities
*Advanced knowledge of design and construction techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of technical plans and drawings
*Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings and structures
*Must be familiar with design processes and interpretation of architectural and engineering design documents.
*Field and Supervision experience preferred
*Can read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
*A strong work ethic
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
*Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
*Ability to travel 20-50% with occasional overnight stays

Education and Experience
*Bachelor's Degree (Science) or Associate Degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent
*8 years of experience minimum required, 10 preferred, in the building design consulting or construction industry

Physical Requirements
*Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
*Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull
*Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises
*Ability to climb ladders and safely maneuver around construction sites

Salary Range $112,000-$138,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
