Clinical Research Coordinator I - The Child Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

The Child Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Program at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a full-time, two-year Clinical Research Coordinator who will split their time between this program and the closely associated Child Resiliency Program at MGH. In the Child CBT Program, the coordinator will be working on a project testing whether we can feasibly and effectively implement self-guided cognitive-behavioral interventions for parents of young children with anxiety. In the Child Resiliency Program, the coordinator will be working on projects assessing the feasibility and efficacy of community-based resiliency education programs for children ranging from elementary to high school age.
Tasks in both programs will include recruiting subjects, screening participants by telephone, coordinating patient appointments, assisting with assessments, and collecting, scoring, entering and managing questionnaire data. We use REDCap for data collection so experience with this data capture system is a plus.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field (by summer, 2025), undergraduate research experience, good attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with a team. Applicants should have a strong interest in clinical child psychology.

Recruiting patients for research studies, conducts phone interviews.

Collecting, scoring, entering, and managing questionnaire data.

Assists with assessing/interviewing study participants.

Provides basic explanation of study and in some cases obtains informed consent from subjects.

Maintains records and databases.

Prepares data for analysis and data entry.

Uses software programs to generate graphs and reports.

Conducts library searchers.

Assists with regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures.

Assists with study regulatory submissions.

Writes consent forms.

Performs administrative support duties as required.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Complies with all policies and standards.
