Regional HR Business Partner

Core Linen Services is a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing services around the country. Our focus is on service, quality and safety which enable our clients to provide essential services to their patients and guests. The Company operates across 20+ states and is a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, based in Miami, FL.

Job Summary:

This HR Business Partner role will support members of CORE Linen's leadership and office management team. The role requires comprehensive knowledge and experience working across the full employee lifecycle. The position encompasses responsibilities across talent acquisition, pre-boarding, onboarding, labor and employee relations, HR data and analytics, engagement, benefits, cba and policy interpretation, offboarding, and compliance-among other key initiatives and projects. Role is hybrid, based out of CORE Linen's headquarters in Charlotte (Huntersville), NC.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
• Review and approve all involuntary terminations to ensure process adherence and legal compliance.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Oversight of LOA process.
• Ensure fair and consistent application of company policy and cba provisions
• Responsible for salaried recruitment and assists with strategy for front line recruitment.
• Support compliance of state law of California plants.
• Work closely with payroll, benefit, safety, and legal team to ensure compliance and support change management.
• Lead annual performance review and merit increase process for the Region
• Provide operations team with HR metrics pertaining to headcount, turnover and performance management. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with support teams to develop solutions, programs and policies.

• Required to travel as needed (up to 15%) .

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written, spoken, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
• Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Excel, HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce preferred)

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of HR and Employee Relation experience.
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including, employee and union relations, payroll, compensation practices, organizational design, engagement, inclusive and culture building, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
• Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field, or equivalent work experience in related mid-level HR fields. Experience supporting manufacturing or plants preferred.
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
• Required to travel as needed (up to 15%)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
