SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provide Respiratory support to all patients with abnormalities of cardiopulmonary function. Administration and monitoring of all diagnostic and therapeutic modalities within the service's scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician. Supervises all Respiratory Technicians and Respiratory Therapy students.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: RESPIRATORY CARE SERVICES
Associate Degree of Applied Science in Respiratory Care from an Accredited Respiratory Program, Bachelor's preferred.
Current NYS Respiratory Therapist License.
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Current BLS by the American Heart Association.
1-2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
Pediatric/ Neonatal experience preferred
ACLS/NRP/PALS preferred
