Responsibilities

This position is responsible for all aspects of trust operations and trust administration support. The position works independently with little supervision. The current work environment is a hybrid of onsite and offsite work days, open to a fully remote arrangement. A functional area within the home with reliable internet and computer must be present to take advantage of this either arrangement.

Essential Duties:

  • Acts as primary support for the Trust Administration team and leads the Operations team for the branch office
  • Handles all aspects of Personal Trust Operations, including account setup, asset setup and maintenance, trade execution, and shadow posting data from outside custodians
  • Works closely with Investment Advisors, custodial and trust platform contacts, and other software and systems vendors
  • Liaises with the Trust Administration team and Operations partners at HB&T sister companies
  • Responsible for training backup operations personnel and new hires to the Personal Trust Operations team
  • Supports team members of the Collective Fund Trust Operations and Fund Operations groups, performs backup duties as needed

Ancillary Duties:

  • May assist with additional Collective Fund Trust Operations, Fund Operations, and Compliance duties as needed.

Qualifications

Eight plus years of trust operations or administration, trust document review, new business on-boarding, financial services regulatory and compliance. Strong background in utilizing FIS's AddVantage trust platform strongly preferred, plus ancillary software and systems that support Reg 9 compliance, investments, and data aggregation.

Education: Bachelor's degree with focus in Business or Finance

  • well developed written and oral communication skills with both external and internal clients
  • Ability to be highly organized and show an attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and multitask
  • Display a high degree of competency with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as personal computer skills
  • Ability to effectively train other team members
  • Experienced in direction setting; works effectively in a team environment; has the ability to adapt to change and respond quickly to client's inquiries/needs and work fluctuations; technical/professional situational knowledge; and has a strong and consistent customer focus
