Inova Center for Personalized Health IT Customer Service is looking for a dedicated IT Enterprise Associate Desktop System Administrator to join the Team. This role will be a full-time day-shift from Monday - Friday located in Fairfax, VA.

The IT Enterprise Associate Desktop System Administrator is responsible for the imaging and configuration, per defined standard operating procedures, of systems hardware/software-related infrastructure. Resolves problems effectively and efficiently so that tasks can be completed in a timely manner and communicates (technically and non-technically) with other team members, other technology services staff and vendors.

IT Enterprise Associate Desktop System Administrator Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the installation of Windows end-user devices and peripherals based on a standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Identifies and resolves more complex problems with the toolset. Communicates problem-solving measures taken for inclusion into the standard operating procedures and policies so that recurring problems can be resolved.
  • Works imaging and installation tasks from a ticket queue.
  • Makes recommendations to senior team members and management for larger updates of procedures/standards to improve efficiency of the imaging, installation and configuration process.
  • Ensures that basic updates of documentation of procedures/standards on the proper imaging and configuring of operating systems software are complete and accurate.
  • Proactively identifies and implements successful preventive measures for basic issues affecting desktops, printers and WOWs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's Degree; or HS Diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in supporting a desktop environment with both basic administration and problem resolution and Microsoft Windows seven and Windows 10 and above issues
