Job Description Summary

Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources and Learning & Development functions. This role facilitates a variety of critical processes, including Onboarding, HR systems administration, Employee Recognition, and Learning platform logistics. The Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for new hires and supports ongoing employee engagement and development initiatives. This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional to gain meaningful experience and make a direct impact on employee experience and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities



  • Onboarding & New Hire Support, from offer acceptance through Day 1 Orientation:

    • Facilitate background checks, I-9 verification, and new hire paperwork
    • Manage new hire IT ticketing for technology setup and deployment
    • Prepare new employee announcements for the company the intranet


  • General HR Administration:

    • Administer user access and password resets for UKG, BAI, and LinkedIn Learning
    • Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
    • Complete termination and employee leave processes in HRIS
    • Partner with vendor for employee leave coordination


  • Learning & Development Support:

    • Launch annual online learning and development training programs
    • Coordinate live training sessions and track participation
    • Lauch and monitor progress for quarterly performance management cycles


  • Administers Employee Engagement Activities:

    • Responsible for maintenance of Human Resource postings via the intranet.
    • Recommend, organize and facilitate employee rewards, recognition programs, and team-building events.


  • Perform other administrative duties and projects as assigned


Job Requirements, Competencies, and Skills



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources support experience required; experience with UKG a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new systems


Environmental / Physical / Mental Requirements



  • Stable internet connection with speeds high enough for video conferencing and screen sharing
  • Smartphone with current iOS/Android OS
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a workstation and working on a computer
  • Ability to communicate with coworkers and customers via email, chat, teleconference, and/or phone

Salary Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Individual salary will vary based on skills and experience. Discretionary incentive compensation may be available based on company and individual performance.
