Sales Manager - Enterprise Sales Location: Knoxville, TN Department: Enterprise Sales Job Summary We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Enterprise Sales team. This front-line leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth and retention across the region by managing a high-performing sales team, building strategic relationships, and executing tactical sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing talent and delivering results. Key Responsibilities Revenue & Team Leadership
- Achieve and exceed regional sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key account leaders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance sales team.
- Collaborate with the RSD on strategic decisions and team development.
Market Engagement & Strategic Planning
- Cultivate top-tier business relationships within the local market.
- Participate in account planning to identify and pursue strategic opportunities.
- Review and support business plans, sales strategies, and action plans.
Sales Strategy & Collaboration
- Partner with leadership on tactical and strategic revenue initiatives.
- Support contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and application assessments.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop campaigns targeting key accounts and markets.
- Provide input on project route design and construction issue resolution.
Community & Opportunity Development
- Research market opportunities and attend customer meetings.
- Strengthen relationships with Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Groups, and local governments.
- Oversee campaigns to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience managing a sales team (telecom preferred).
Key Competencies
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
- Proven ability to manage complex enterprise network accounts.
- Deep understanding of telecom infrastructure and market trends.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, including out-of-state.
