Overhaul & Repair Parts Coordinator

Function:

Support Breeze Overhaul and Repair Operations/Supply Chain through the timely and accurate processing of refurbished/repaired/overhauled material. Develop, implement, and follow-up provisioning and material support for the O&R production plan from induction processing to product completion within defined schedule and budget goals.

Duties:




  1. Full responsibility for refurbished/overhauled parts. Includes inventory accuracy and transactions to suport parts movement (receipts and issues) in compliance with Breeze and FAA requirements. Manage "02" stockroom.
  2. Send out and process parts from Overhaul and Repair units for refurbish/repair/overhaul IAW Breeze approved procedures and routings. Coordinate/prioritize for maximum benefit.
  3. Oversee incoming receiving and inspection of refurbished/repaired/overhauled parts to ensure items are received properly and priorities set accordingly within Receiving and Inspection.
  4. Support Overhaul and Repair Manager(s), Supervisor(s), and Planner(s) by working closely with same to ensure availability of parts as defined by the Supervisor(s) and Technician(s).
  5. Ensure applicable ERP system transactions are accurate and timely.
  6. Manage Suppliers for Overhaul and Repair Services to include prioritizing, processing costs, delivery times, and negotiating LTA's where possible and practical.
  7. Maintain available stock of key overhaul components (motors, servos, fans, hooks, etc.) through management of rotable inventory pool.
  8. Assist with O&R product planning & scheduling as required, including initiating, reviewing, and closing work orders that support O&R activities, monitoring stocking capability for forecast, and publishing usage reports.
  9. Interface with planners and other departments to identify parts that are outside required delivery schedule and develop alternate solutions or expedite parts in house.
  10. Support O&R Manager(s) and Supervisor(s) to assure BOMs are correct and updated.


Required Qualifications:

Familiarity with aerospace industry, FAA regulations, and military specifications. Must have background in manufacturing/supply chain and Overhaul and Repair services

Experience in Bill of Material reviews and implementation

Experience in production planning strongly preferred

Experience in computerized planning systems such as MRP II preferred
