Description

The Provider Financial Analyst III supports and validates provider contracting and unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis, and reporting. This position will focus on compiling, organizing, analyzing, and reporting provider unit cost position, including publicly reported provider cost transparency files. Additionally, this position will conduct other unit cost and contract valuation analyses to support network contracting negotiations and unit cost management strategies. This is an advanced-level professional position that provides direction to other staff and performs more advanced responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • 5 years of work experience beyond degree
  • Expertise in analyzing claims data
  • Proficiency in provider payment methodology


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with relational databases and querying tools, e.g., SAS, SQL, etc.


This position is a hub-based role which requires onsite presence. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must reside within a commuting distance to one of the following office locations: Minnetonka, MN, or Madison, WI. Onsite frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership and may be up to 2-3 days a week.

The full salary range for this position is $68,800 - $118,000. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
