PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Electrical Engineer I will be responsible for developing the electrical design of the product and working with operations team in the integration of the product.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Begin to acquire product domain knowledge
* Create the electrical design and analysis for systems, products or subsystems of limited complexity generally in one functional area under guidance of a more-senior engineer.
* Begin to understand and utilize internal mechanical processes and tools.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual contributor working under the direction of technical leadership.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
* Familiarity with tools such as Solid Works, CATIA, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Assist in electromagnetic interference testing, and platform system integration with working knowledge of MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-462, and MIL-STD-708.
* Collaborate with the lead project engineers, chief engineer, and engineering design teams to ensure that systems meet the safety of flight needs and that the resulting product operates as intended.
* Develop schematics, cable routing, removal of existing components and installation of new RF counter measure systems, lasers, antennas, transmitters and radios to ensure product will meet requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
* A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
* Ability to travel up to 10%.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
* Ability to pass a drug and background screening
