Join our team at Terex Louisville and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Technical Service Engineer to contribute to the Terex Washing Systems brand.

As a Technical Service Engineer at Terex, you'll play a pivotal role in working closely with the TWS Sales and Engineering teams,you will be responsible for providing a first class service to our dealers and customers in North America including onsite technical assistance, sales, applications, commissioning, and training on our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a dedicated team delivering first class service to dealers and customers
  • Provide technical support to the North American TWS Dealer Network
  • Assisting the sales team with technical sales including application validation in conjunction with the TWS Applications team
  • Researching and responding to customer inquiries on parts & warranty
  • Assist dealers and customers with installation and commissioning of TWS products
  • Provide detailed application and technical training to dealers and customers
  • Cooperate with product group engineers and quality team to ensure products are manufactured and delivered to the highest quality standards
  • To investigate and resolve customer problems in a timely manner
  • Travelling throughout North America to locations of dealers and customers
  • Carrying out maintenance and servicing on Terex Washing Systems machinery where necessary

Basic Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of service experience on industrial heavy equipment.
  • Read machine assembly drawings and schematics.
  • Travel Required - 50-75%
  • Must have clean driving record -valid driver's license and ability to obtain a US passport
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates/Technical degree.
  • Experience in Aggregates industry; preferable washing systems
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems and the ability to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Ability and willingness to make decisions with purpose and a strong sense of urgency to resolve equipment failures promptly.
  • Ability to work independently and use available resources to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must interact well with others in a diverse environment and be a team player.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
  • Training experience, conducting training seminars and hands-on demonstrations.

Position base is based out of Louisville, KY but candidate may reside elsewhere in the US.
