We are looking for a Competitive Intelligence Manager to join our Global Technical Marketing team located in California, reporting to the vice president of Technical Marketing. In this role, you will analyze market dynamics, uncover competitor moves, and enable internal teams with actionable intelligence. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Technical Marketing Engineers (TMEs), Sales, and Marketing to influence product direction, close competitive gaps, and highlight differentiated value - particularly in the high-impact domains of DDI, networking, and cloud security.

What you'll do:



  • Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors in the DDI, networking, cloud security, and cybersecurity spaces
  • Monitor offerings, pricing, roadmaps, customer sentiment, and positioning across the DDI landscape and adjacent markets
  • Establish and maintain a regular cadence of in-depth analysis and hands-on testing for Tier 1 competitors, especially in the DDI and secure networking segments
  • Deliver quarterly or monthly deep-dives, updated battlecards, and side-by-side evaluations highlighting changes in technical capabilities, integrations including with cloud providers, and differentiation
  • Identify and prioritize competitive feature gaps, especially in core DDI functions and cloud-native networking/security features
  • Recommend opportunities to build or enhance differentiated capabilities in DNS security, IPAM automation, or DHCP scalability
  • Influence roadmap decisions with field-backed analysis and DDI market trends
  • Partner with TMEs to design and execute hands-on product testing, scenario-based validation, and comparative evaluations across DDI and multi-cloud networking platforms
  • Support third-party validations and analyst evaluations by providing competitive benchmarks and technical artifacts for DDI use cases
  • Competition intelligence/analysis, including key initiatives, market presence, strategy, and SWOT analysis


What you'll bring:



  • 12+ years of technical marketing, product management, product marketing, or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, technical marketing, or product strategy in an enterprise technology environment
  • Solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and multi-cloud architectures
  • Proven ability to develop high-impact competitive collateral and training content across multiple formats
  • Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) concepts and market players
  • Skilled in tools such as Crayon, Klue, Highspot, Seismic, Loom, Camtasia, Adobe, and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams or Slack
  • Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and storytelling abilities
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in technology, marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience


What success looks like:

After six months, you will...



  • Develop expertise in the Infoblox portfolio with the ability to articulate the various use-cases addressed at a technical level with business understanding
  • Create compelling collateral to meet our sellers' and customers' needs
  • Have a complete understanding of the portfolio roadmap and create work plans to drive adoption


After about a year, you will...



  • Operate independently in your focus area
  • Become the go-to person for focus areas and help sellers close deals
  • Become a trusted advisors for customers and partners

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position in California $170,600 - $233,500 plus corporate bonus.
