Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $21.25 - Midpoint: $26.59 (Hourly N6)

Department/Organization: 200001 - VP Academic Affairs Office

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The Executive Assistant I provides administrative support for a Dean, Assistant/Associate Vice President, or position of comparable size, scope, and complexity. Performs complex and non-routine administrative tasks. Acts as liaison of the executive and their office. Drafts and sends communications on executive's behalf. Manages the office of the executive to include supervision of office staff. Oversees maintenance of all files, records, and reports. Oversee and works on special projects.

Additional Department Summary: Provides comprehensive, high-level support to Professor and President Emeritus.

Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree and three (3) years of executive-level support experience; OR bachelor's degree and one (1) year of executive-level support experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Eagerness to work in a team atmosphere. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Extensive interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to demonstrate tact, versatility, cooperation, and adaptability. Ability to organize work, processes, and time efficiently and effectively. Ability to professionally manage all administrative matters in a fast-paced executive-level office environment.
