Here's what you'd do: Resolves complex engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information; researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques; recommending solutions; reviewing drawings, schematics, and diagrams; evaluating installations, components, materials, and suppliers; resolving design integration issues; developing specifications and safety standards Strong lean manufacturing skill set and knowledge with experience implementing lean methodologies/tools High level of experience establishing labor standards, line balancing, and factory layouts to improve material flow and labor efficiencies to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment and practices; soliciting observations of stakeholders and application of Lean Manufacturing techniques Assures compliance with all applicable specs and regulations Incorporates Lean and P3E processes and concepts into daily activities Strive for continuous improvement to processes and procedures Honors and protects confidential and proprietary documents and information The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by the employee Here's what you'll get: Pay: $38.50/hr Shift: First Shift Schedule: M-F, 7 AM-3:30 PM Length: Temp to Direct Holiday pay, 401(k), direct deposit, and medical and dental insurance A promising career in a growing industry Opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and empower yourself (and others) Sound like a good fit? Job Requirements Here's what requirements you'll need: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Minimum of 1 year of experience with aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, or repair Here's what sets you apart from other candidates that our clients prefer: Advanced degree in Engineering Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Proficiency with planning practices and tools Proficient in Lotus Notes, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Power Point), MES, CATIA, & SAP Strong organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Presentation skills Utilization of Lean Production concepts Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
