The Role:

As the Sr. Manager of Mission Integration, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the Mission and Values are woven into the fabric of daily life within our ministries. Your leadership will influence governance, strategy, operations, spiritual care, and caregiver development, sustaining a culture consistent with our Catholic identity. You will serve as a trusted advisor, aligning organizational actions with our Mission, and ensuring that every decision reflects our commitment to those we serve.

What You'll Do:



  • Counselor and Visionary: Serve as a thought-partner to Providence community members, actively engaging with ministry leadership to connect business priorities with our Mission, Vision, and Values. Drive the Mission Fidelity Assessment process and foster reflection among core leaders.
  • Advocate for Vulnerable Populations: Ensure community needs are prioritized in decision-making, representing those served under Catholic Social Teaching. Support DEI initiatives and collaborate on community benefit planning.
  • Renewal Leader: Facilitate formation programs, lead mission-centered onboarding, and nurture the spiritual and professional growth of caregivers and leaders.
  • Ethical Decision Facilitator: Partner with ethics leaders to guide operational decisions, connect teams with Catholic social teachings, and maintain collaborative ethics engagement.
  • Spiritual Sustainer: Provide leadership to chaplains and spiritual health providers, coordinating rituals, blessings, and supportive presence during impactful events. Celebrate organizational feast days and foster spiritual connections.


What You'll Bring:



  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Healthcare, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years in healthcare professional roles or administration of mission-related programs with leadership experience.
  • Specialized Training: Ethics, formation, spiritual care, or community partnerships training preferred.
  • Theological Understanding: Rooted in sound theology, an understanding of the Mission and Values of Providence and the Catholic Church's healthcare ministry.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire, influence, and lead diverse teams toward strategic goals, being a prophetic voice within the organization.
  • Communication Proficiency: Articulate the integration of spirituality and workplace dynamics effectively, engaging with diverse religious backgrounds.
  • Personal Qualities: Maturity, judgment, and personal spirituality that aligns with Providence as a Catholic ministry, with interpersonal skills that engender trust.
