Hourly rate range (depending on experience): $18/hr - $25/hr

Shifts Available:

a1st Shift 7:00am a" 3:30pm

a2nd Shift 3:00pm a" 11:30pm

As a Pharmaceutical Machine / Manufacturing Operator at CIPLA, you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll operate state-of-the-art machinery, execute meticulous procedures, and contribute to the production of life-saving medications.

What You'll Do:

  • Operate Cutting-Edge Equipment: Independently manage pharmaceutical production machinery and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Execute Manufacturing Procedures: Follow detailed batch manufacturing records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain product integrity.
  • Perform Machine Changeovers: Handle cleaning, setup, and maintenance of equipment to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure Quality and Compliance: Prepare rooms and equipment, verify calibrations, and check pressure differentials to uphold our stringent quality standards.
  • Handle Material Transfers: Manage the flow of materials and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
  • Maintain Safety Standards: Wear appropriate PPE, follow Health & Safety procedures, and participate in safety programs.
  • Collaborate and Lead: Work independently and as part of a team, exercising professional judgment and contributing to continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Willing to work in a pharmaceutical setting.
  • Operate pharmaceutical production machinery and complete documentation accurately.
  • Follow manufacturing procedures according to BMR and SOPs.
  • Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and setup as per SOPs.
  • Prepare rooms and equipment for line clearance, replace filters, verify and calibrate equipment, and check room pressure.
  • Ensure line clearance before starting manufacturing activities.
  • Handle material transfers and check dispensed materials and labeling as per BMR.
  • Wear appropriate PPE as required.
  • Operate equipment independently.
  • Maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Complete manufacturing documents accurately and on time.
  • Train on relevant SOPs and comply with cGMP.
  • Use equipment safely according to Health & Safety procedures.
  • Flexible to work extended hours if needed.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties as assigned by management.
  • Participate in safety programs and ensure a clean working area.
  • Adhere to CIPLAas Safety, Health, and Environmental policies.
  • Work under general supervision, independently, and in a team.
  • Exercise professional judgment on significant matters.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Management.

Requirements:

aHigh School Diploma (or educational equivalent (i.e. GED)

aMinimum one years of direct work experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

aMust have legible handwriting, and the ability to perform accurate documentation in English.

aUnderstanding of granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation machines.

aCapable of conducting troubleshooting, investigations and root cause identification and analysis.

aAble to prioritize, plan and work under tight schedules and deadlines.

aTechnical writing skills and application of relevant scientific principles and practices (preferred).

aMust communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in written.

aEnglish proficiency required (writing, reading, speaking).

Physical Requirements

aShould not have any restriction to work with powder containing active pharmaceutical ingredients.

aThis position requires the ability to do heavy lifting / bending frequently.

aLong periods of standing up/walking during the working hours; ability to ascend/descend ladders; and able to lift to 35 pounds.

aMust be able to move pallets/equipment weighing about 200 a" 300 kgs using suitable moving equipment like pallet jacks.
