Project CAD Support

Location: Freeport, TX 77541

Schedule: 4-day workweek (Mon-Thurs), 3 days onsite, 1 day remote

Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)

Pay: $28-$30/hr

Overview:

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project Support Specialist to join our client's team at their chemical plant in Freeport, TX. In this role, you'll support project managers with administrative tasks, document control, procurement tracking, and cost reporting. You'll help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

  Track and maintain records for PRs, POs, invoices, AR/AP

  
  
• 
  

  Prepare weekly procurement and monthly cost reports

  
  
• 
  

  Handle project documentation and file management (SharePoint)

  
  
• 
  

  Control drawing check-in/check-out

  
  
• 
  

  Provide light AutoCAD support (training provided)

  
  
• 
  

  Close out project files and ensure proper storage/transfer to Maintenance

  
  
• 
  

  Support team logistics and administrative tasks

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  High School Diploma or equivalent

  
  
• 
  

  Proficient in MS Office

  
  
• 
  

  Experience in a project or engineering environment is a plus

  
  
• 
  

  Familiarity with SAP and AutoCAD is a plus

  
  
• 
  

  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  
  
• 
  

  Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sensitive environment

  Quick to learn and adapt to changing priorities
