What this position entails

IntelliScript offers an innovative suite of products that interpret and deliver electronic medical data (such as pharmacy claims, medical claims, and electronic health record data) to help our clients make effective underwriting and risk assessments.

The Clinical Consultant is a vital part of IntelliScript's innovative and productive Clinical Services team - a team that delivers the clinical intelligence and expertise needed for industry-leading clinical interpretation solutions. Working with various members of teams across the company, you will be instrumental as we continue to innovate, design, and maintain the clinical intelligence behind our decision support software (Irix and Curv) and fulfill the specific needs of each client.

In this role, the Clinical Consultant will work directly with our clients (primarily in the life insurance space) to solve business problems using our Irix interpretation solutions. We are looking for someone to pair professional clinical experience with a solutions-oriented mindset to solve client problems. This unique opportunity will put your clinical acumen, data analytics experience, and interprofessional skills to immediate use in a unique and exciting environment.

What you will be doing



  • Apply clinical experience to advance product innovation and client relationships.
  • Support client-facing teams as a subject matter expert to help clients adopt, implement, and use our products.
  • Perform and present clinical analyses as part of our study deliverable process.
  • Listen to, advise on, and deliver client clinical configuration requests.
  • Evaluate electronic medical data and apply morbidity and mortality data to health conditions.
  • Be responsible for written and verbal consultation to clients, providing clinical and product expertise in a business frame of reference.
  • Develop and deliver thought leadership webinars and live presentations.
  • Uphold quality risk management (QRM) principles for peer reviewing clinical content, documentation, and client communication.
  • Approximately 20% nationwide travel will be required for this role to visit client sites, industry conferences, team events, etc.


What we need



  • Current licensure in good standing as a healthcare professional
  • Minimum three years of experience in clinical practice
  • Experience analyzing and evaluating data
  • Comfort with delivering clinical information to audiences with diverse clinical backgrounds
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Project Management software

Location

The expected application deadline for this job is September 30, 2025. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events (up to 20%).

Compensation

The overall salary range for this role is $85,100 - $185,400. For candidates residing in:



  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia:

    • $93,610 - $154,550 if overall experience is less than 5 years; and
    • $103,070 - $169,950 for experience greater than 5 years.


  • New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco:

    • $102,120 - $168,600 if overall experience is less than 5 years; and
    • $112,440 - $185,400 for experience greater than 5 years.


  • All other states:

    • $85,100 - $140,500 if overall experience is less than 5 years; and
    • $93,700 - $154,500 for experience greater than 5 years.




A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
