Technical Writer/Editor A Technical Writer/Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and reviewing technical documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established guidelines. They collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation. They also proofread and edit technical content to ensure consistency, grammar, and adherence to style guides. Additionally, they may participate in document planning, organization, and version control. The Technical Writer Editor plays a critical role in delivering high-quality technical documentation that supports the needs of end-users and enhances the overall user experience. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Technical Writer/Editor: $50,000-$55,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Technical Writer/Editor Responsibilities Include: Assists with the validation/verification, discrepancy/deficiency resolution, and accuracy/adequacy assessment of technical publication requirements. Provides support with the life cycle management of technical publications. Provides support with developing, promulgating, amending, and maintaining technical publications used to support the CG Surface Community. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Technical Writer/Editor Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Minimum education requirement of an Associate's degree or at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Demonstrates good written communication skills and organizational abilities.
