The Department of Nutritional Sciences in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is currently seeking Lecturers to teach various undergraduate or graduate courses such as: Medical Nutrition Therapy and Lab, Community Nutrition, Food Customs & Nutrition Equity, Food Safety & Sanitation, Lifespan Nutrition, and Careers in Nutrition. The instructors will present course materials during assigned course times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades. and coordinate any other requirements related to course instruction. |

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
Interested candidates should have an advanced degree in nutrition or closely related field and be actively engaged in nutrition and dietetics with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Prior work experience teaching undergraduate and graduate university level in-person, synchronous online courses, and/or asynchronous online courses addressing the course content is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with the Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (
RDN) credential, demonstrated evidence of past teaching effectiveness, university teaching experience, experience using Canvas, and experience teaching in-person and quickly transitioning to online instruction during public health calamities. |

Immunization Requirements
