Come work at a place where innovation and teamwork come together to support the most exciting missions in the world!

Help secure the world's largest enterprises with a platform that leads in innovation, coverage, and trust.

As a Major Account Solution Architect (MASA) at Qualys, you will serve as a technical and strategic partner to some of our most complex and high-profile customers. You'll play a crucial role in helping organizations operationalize and scale the Qualys Cloud Platform across hybrid and cloud-native environments, guiding key security initiatives from strategy to execution.

This role goes beyond basic technical support-you'll lead architectural discussions, drive platform adoption, champion best practices, and act as the technical face of Qualys for your assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary post-sales technical advisor for a portfolio of large enterprise customers (typically Fortune 1000)

  • Develop deep familiarity with customer environments and business goals, and align Qualys capabilities accordingly

  • Lead the implementation and expansion of core platform solutions like VMDR, CSAM, PC, WAS, TotalCloud, and ETM

  • Guide integration with critical enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and CMDBs

  • Drive customer maturity by advising on tagging strategy, dynamic asset grouping, scan scheduling, reporting, and dashboarding

  • Support Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), product evaluations, and rollout plans for new Qualys modules

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, engineering, support) to resolve challenges and drive customer satisfaction

  • Provide regular executive-level reviews, security health assessments, and roadmap sessions

  • Act as a trusted advocate for customer needs within Qualys, influencing roadmap and feature prioritization

  • Track engagement and technical progress in Salesforce, and ensure alignment with success KPIs and expansion goals

Qualifications - What Sets You Apart
  • 5-7+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or technical customer-facing roles (TAM, SA, CSE) within enterprise security SaaS, ideally at Qualys or a similar platform vendor

  • Strong hands-on familiarity with the Qualys Cloud Platform, especially in areas such as:

    • Asset Inventory & CMDB Sync (CSAM)

    • Vulnerability Management & Risk-Based Prioritization (VMDR)

    • Policy Compliance & Audit Frameworks (PC)

    • Web Application Security (WAS/WAF)

    • Cloud Agent deployment at scale

    • Sensor architecture and network scanner placement

  • Experience designing end-to-end security solutions and integrations in complex, hybrid enterprise environments

  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and container security (Kubernetes/Docker)

  • Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, CIS Controls, FedRAMP, or PCI-DSS

  • Excellent communicator-capable of building trust with both security practitioners and senior decision-makers

  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills

  • Prior experience with tools like Salesforce, Gong, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Jira)

Preferred (But Not Required)
  • Former experience at Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto

  • Background in vulnerability lifecycle management, including remediation programs or risk scoring

  • Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, AWS Solutions Architect, or Qualys Certified Specialist

  • Prior experience deploying or managing security tools in a DevSecOps pipeline

Why This Role at Qualys?
  • Own the technical relationship for strategic customers driving global cyber risk initiatives

  • Represent a platform with unmatched depth and breadth-Qualys agents, sensors, and modules cover more surface area than any other vendor

  • Collaborate with a team that blends deep domain knowledge and innovation across vulnerability management, asset intelligence, and AI-driven security
