JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Residence Life Office is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join the team. The Assistant Coordinator is responsible to an Assistant Director for assisting with the supervision and administration of the Residence Life program serving approximately 900 residential students. This is a live-in position, and responsibilities primarily include program development, fostering community, providing guidance and support to students and student leaders, and collaborating with campus partners.Other responsibilities may include conflict mediation, crisis response, and working with curricular goals. The Assistant Coordinator will serve as part of the on-call rotation and assist in departmental initiatives including RA recruitment, selection, and training.

Hours
This is a 20-hour a week position.The position will require additional hours based on operational needs throughout the year due to campus-wide events, department operations, and On Callresponsibilities.Whilemost hours will be spent in the office, others will occur during evenings and weekends.
Compensation/Benefits
Furnished one bedroom apartment that includes full size kitchen and bath. Also includes a department-issued laptop and paid laundry card, as washer/dryer is accessible but not in apartment.A monthly meal plan of $100, parking pass and an hourly base rate of $21 paid bi-weekly.
