    Wages and Benefits:
    Minimum hourly rate is $22.15

    Job Responsibilities:
    1. Serves as the first level of contact for technology issues:
      • Troubleshoots classroom technology issues including but not limited to computers, Smartboards, projectors and sound systems.
      • Performs routine maintenance.
      • Submits tech tickets to the technology department.
      • Organizes equipment and provides tech support for standardized online testing.
      • Sets up equipment for assemblies, concerts, and staff meetings during the school day.
    2. Organizes and provides assistance with Media Center materials:
      • Processes, distributes, shelves, and checks in/out materials.
      • Inventories all media center materials, district curriculum and equipment.
      • Assembles and prepares books, magazines, and other materials requested by staff.
      • Serves as a resource in the Media Center by assisting students and staff with locating materials.
    3. Provides iPad support:
      • Troubleshoots iPads and apps used in the district.
      • Assists students with the setup of new or replacement iPads.
      • Helps students and staff with iPad problems, including hardware and software applications.
      • Keeps inventory of iPads and tracking broken and repaired iPads.
      • Assists in keeping iPads up-to-date.
    4. Assists with instruction and/or supervision of students in the Media Center and computer lab.
    5. Stays current and becomes proficient with District technology by attending department meetings and district workshops.


    Qualifications:
    1. Demonstrates a working knowledge of iPads, PC hardware platforms and related instructional software.
    2. Demonstrates a high level of ability in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
    3. Demonstrates an understanding of computer literacy related to education.
    4. Evidence of strong problem-solving skills.
    5. Displays a willingness to promote the media/technology philosophy of District 276.
    6. Evidence of ability to relate well with staff and students.
    7. Demonstrates the ability to manage groups of students.
    8. Evidence of ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    9. Evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
