Directs and oversees all activities relating to the Hays Plant facility, including buildings, grounds, machinery, tooling, and equipment used to facilitate the manufacturing process, ensuring up time for machines for Production to meet expected output. Oversees maintenance department and directs the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timeliness of repairs and efficiency of Maintenance Technicians. Directs activities of the Engineering staff to study and develop new technologies to automate and make manufacturing processes more efficient, to solve problems with engineering solutions, including PLC activities. Oversees and prepares the Plant capital budget and prepares Appropriation Requests (AR's) to request funds for projects and proposals to upgrade facilities, equipment, and for emergency equipment replacements, repairs and other facility issues. Required: Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management or a related field plus 7-10 years' experience in overseeing manufacturing facilities, engineering projects, process management or the equivalent, with at least five of those years in a supervisor capacity. Preferred: Master's degree in a related Engineering field with more than ten years of experience in facilities engineering management. Professional Engineering Certificate is a plus. Professional society affiliation a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
