Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: The Facilities Manager will ensure that the facility is operating as it should daily and is a safe and functional workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the design, planning, construction, safety, security, repair, and proactive maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, grounds, and any other off-site facilities (including daily, weekly, monthly, etc. inspections).
  • Plans, budgets, strategizes, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Coordinate renovations, updates, inspections, testing, assessments, and site expansion.
  • Design and develop organizational policies relevant to the facilities department.
  • Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion (space management).
  • Responsible for establishing and overseeing health, safety, and environmental standards and strategies. Ensure that facilities meet compliance standards and Government regulations. Inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and ensuring facilities meet legal requirements.
  • May be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and overseeing contracts with service providers (includes but not limited to repair, testing, maintenance, cleaning, parking, security, technology, catering/food service)
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Advise on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility and grounds.
  • Plan by forecasting the facility and ground's upcoming needs and requirements.
  • Employee engagement champion as part of the Leadership team.
  • Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion (space management).
  • Manage Budgets
  • Reporting
  • Daily approval of PO's.
  • Administrative duties related to position (including mail)
  • Projects as assigned (and initiate projects).
  • Take the lead in a possible relocation.
  • Operates across multiple business functions (both strategic and operational.
  • Handle emergencies in real-time.
  • Involved in planning multiple company events (summer events, holiday party, monthly cake days).
  • Typically manages a department of 2-3 employees and is head of the Safety Committee.

Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future. Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • The knowledge, ability, and experience to operate
    • forklifts (electric and propane)
    • scissors lifts
    • single main lifts
    • power tools (a must)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
