Starting pay is $21.69/hr, increasing to $22.98/hr after training (Paid weekly + annual bonus)

Hours of 3rd shift are 6:40pm - 5:10am Monday - Thursday. If working overtime hours can extend to 5:10pm - 5:10am Monday - Thursday.

Job Summary: Operate machines to make high quality recycled cardboard products for Hexacomb in a safe and efficient manner. This job operators our smaller machines and fabricates larger pieces of Hexacomb into smaller custom designed pieces per customer request. Forklift training provided.

JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to read at an acceptable level.
  • Must be able to do basic math including multiplication and division.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Set up and run the machine, including blades while following job safety analysis
  • Log data into the computer and move product through the system
  • Ensure the quality of product produced, such as slit positions and depth, dimensions, labeling, and packaging.
  • Learn to drive forklift
  • Train and direct temporary employees when needed.
  • Run all equipment as efficiently as possible, while working to continuously improve set up time, speed, and waste.
  • Follow all safety rules and policies, make suggestions to improve safety and look out for fellow employee's safety. Work to improve our safety culture.
  • Assist other departments when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
