Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads small/mid-size projects or phases of a larger project, which usually impact a Line Of Business (LOB) and/or functional areas. Responsible for all aspects of the project (or phase) over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives to effectively coordinate the activities of the team, including organizational change management methodologies and techniques as well as the role and function of each team member.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manages one or more projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, including directing third party resources as well as virtual teams.
  • Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, organizational change management methodologies and techniques, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
  • Defines and manages project scope, scope changes, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and value proposition that support the diverse business goals and interests of multiple stakeholders.
  • Develops integrated project plan; identifies and manages project dependencies and critical paths; and tracks/reports project milestones as well as status.
  • Identifies, tracks, escalates and resolves issue conflicts; performs impact analysis and prioritization; manages dependencies and track/monitors; and escalates risk with corrective/mitigating actions.
  • Adheres to project policies/ standards; performs project assessments; and manages deliverable reviews and sign-offs
  • Leads communication planning, execution and reporting with project team members; liaises with key stakeholders.
  • Supports development of change management planning, design and implementation including communication and training.
  • Manages documentation and the knowledge transfer to the "business as usual" functions.
  • Undertands, adheres to, and applies all Security and Technology policies and procedures within project scope.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Experience: 3+ years of project experience with demonstrated project management skills required.

Competencies and Skills:

  • Works under limited direction and supervision; demonstrates emerging Key leadership competencies
  • Demonstrates solid critical thinking and problem solving skills to analyze, summarize, and deliver solutions to moderately complex problems; ability to plan and execute as assigned
  • Basic understanding of business model and project impact to business strategy
  • Possess solid written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate project goals, objectives, and deliverables
  • Assesses strengths and developmental needs of team members; learns from feedback (setbacks, mistakes) to drive personal improvement
  • Ability to identify, track, escalate and resolve risk & issues; maintains and manages risk & issues log; reports status
  • Ability to apply knowledge of Key's infrastructure environment (network, data, voice, client compute, etc.) to project scope and objectives.
  • Ability to effectively represent technology standards to Lines of Business and other business partners.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
