Job Summary
The Technical Lead Mobile POS Migration expert will play a crucial role in designing and implementing end-to-end delivery of Mobile POS solutions.
With a focus on enhancing POS integrations in retail domain the candidate will contribute to the company's growth and societal impact through technology-driven strategies.

Responsibilities
POS to Mobile POS migration.
Develop and lead the design of Mobile POS, oversee end-to-end delivery of Mobile POS solutions, including integrations, APIs, and peripherals.
Design scalable and secure microservices using REST APIs.
Guide cross-functional teams including mobile developers, backend engineers, testers, and UX designers.
Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows.
Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of mobile POS applications.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and team capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:
10+ years in retail technology with 3+ years in POS systems, technical leadership role and experience with Xstore is highly preferred.
Strong hands-on experience with: React Native, Spring Boot, Java 21, Maven, SQL, REST APIs Spring Cloud, Tomcat, GitHub, POS hardware integration, Familiarity with ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, React JS, Ansible, and Azure AKS
Agile delivery leadership, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder demos.
Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
